Poe Slam Poetry

Are you a fan of dark stories with phantom hearts, black winged birds, or the dramatic demise of relationships? Do you love the things that go bump in the night or under the floorboards? Do you ponder weak and weary towards the master crafter, Poe? Look no further!

In this Poetastic event, we are taking center stage to read aloud some of Edgar Allan Poe’s famous poems. Each reader will be given the chance to dress for the occasion as their best Poe impersonator, read their choice within the five minute time frame, and potentially win our Poe Prize! If you’re feeling grave-I mean brave- and long to be under the spotlight, then please fill out the online form and choose from our selection of poetry. Participants must be 16 years or older to read.
