Columbia City Connect Launches “Foodie February” to Celebrate Local Dining

Get ready to warm up winter with Foodie February, a month-long celebration of Columbia City’s incredible local food scene! All February long, downtown restaurants, cafés, bakeries and coffee shops will be offering creative specials for everyone to enjoy—and there’s a chance to win a $100 Local Flavor Prize Pack just for dining local!

How Foodie February Works

Each week brings a new theme, giving the community a fun reason to explore downtown and try something new:

• Week 1 (Feb 1–7): Drink Specials Week – Drinks, coffee, cocktails, smoothies
• Week 2 (Feb 8–14): Sweet Tooth Week – Desserts, donuts, chocolates, and treats
• Week 3 (Feb 15–21): Bites to Share – Appetizers, small plates, and snackable favorites
• Week 4 (Feb 22–28): Fan Favorites – Best-sellers, featured menu items, or new creations

How to Enter the Local Flavor Prize Pack:

1. Dine at any participating business during February.
2. Submit your receipt with name + phone number to the entry box at the restaurant.
3. One receipt = one entry
4. Want a bonus entry? Post a photo of your meal on social media, tag the restaurant and Columbia City Connect, and use #FoodieFebruaryCC.
