Columbia City, IN – Downtown Columbia City continues to grow as A Hope Center officially opened its new location at 305 W. Van Buren Street, Suite 102, with a Grand Opening Celebration and ribbon-cutting event held this past Friday.

Community members gathered from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. to tour the newly renovated space, meet the team, and learn more about the organization’s mission to support women and families through free pregnancy services, education, and practical resources. The event saw a strong turnout, reflecting the community’s enthusiasm for the organization’s presence in the downtown district.

A Hope Center provides a range of no-cost services, including pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, parenting education, and ongoing support for individuals and families. With a focus on compassionate, individualized care, the organization aims to walk alongside clients during pregnancy and beyond.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked a new chapter for A Hope Center as it expands its reach and accessibility in a central, walkable location. Community partners and supporters, including Right to Life, joined in celebrating the milestone and reaffirming their commitment to the organization’s mission.

Executive Director Michelle Schoenefeld and her team expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and shared their excitement about continuing their work in a space designed to better serve the community.

With its new downtown home, A Hope Center strengthens the network of services available in Columbia City while contributing to the continued vibrancy and growth of the area.
