At this time next year, something truly special will be happening right here in our community.
The Community Foundation of Whitley County will welcome the traveling Smithsonian exhibition Voices & Votes: Democracy in America, on display from January 30 through March 14. This nationally touring exhibit, part of the Museums on Main Street program, has made its way across the country—and Whitley County will serve as its final stop before the exhibition closes permanently.
This is more than just an exhibit, it’s a rare opportunity to experience a Smithsonian-quality presentation without leaving our community. Voices & Votes explores the history and evolution of American democracy, inviting visitors to reflect on the power of civic engagement and the role each of us plays in shaping our nation.
