Holiday shopping is better when you can take your time, explore local shops, and enjoy the season along the way. This November and December, Columbia City Connect invites you to Shop Late Fridays in downtown Columbia City for two special evenings of shopping and holiday experiences.
Whether you’re getting an early start on your Christmas list or looking for a festive night out, there’s a reason to make downtown part of your holiday plans.
Friday, November 20: Early Holiday Shopping
Beat the holiday rush and get a head start on your shopping! Shop Late Fridays on November 20 gives you extra time to browse downtown stores, discover unique gifts, and find something for everyone on your list.
From local favorites to one-of-a-kind finds, downtown businesses offer plenty of ways to make your holiday shopping personal while supporting the small businesses that make Columbia City special.
Friday, December 4: A Downtown Experience
On December 4, Shop Late Fridays becomes part of a bigger holiday celebration in downtown Columbia City.
Enjoy an evening of shopping alongside three favorite holiday traditions:
- Walk of Trees: Explore a festive display of beautifully decorated Christmas trees.
- Christmas at the Courthouse: Enjoy the holiday festivities surrounding the courthouse.
- Merry Museum Christmas: Add a little history and holiday cheer to your evening with a visit to the museum.
With shopping, holiday displays, and seasonal activities throughout downtown, December 4 is a great opportunity to bring family or friends and experience the magic of the season together.
Make Downtown Part of Your Holiday Traditions
Shopping local is about more than finding the perfect gift. It’s a way to support the small businesses, entrepreneurs, and community connections that make downtown Columbia City a special place.
Mark your calendar for November 20 and December 4, and plan to spend an evening downtown this holiday season.
We look forward to seeing you!
