DESCRIPTION:Whitley County will be launching its America 250 initiative on June 14. Community members are invited to gather at the Whitley County Farmer’s Market that day\, which takes place from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. There will be a table with representatives from the local committee to talk about the plans being made for the year\, there will be an activity for kids to do and free gifts passed out. Then at 10 a.m. there will be a ceremony to kick-off the America 250 celebration on the courthouse grounds.
