DESCRIPTION:The Peabody Public Library is thrilled to announce Art Unraveled is continuing all through the month of June! This series celebrates the creativity and craftsmanship of local artists. Sponsored by Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne and the Indiana Arts Commission—with support from the State of Indiana and the National Endowment for the Arts—this inspiring lineup of FREE programs invites the public to explore diverse artistic disciplines through demonstration\, storytelling\, and hands-on experience. \nThis class will involve learning the basics of making candles and includes: hands on experience which involves wicking the container\, incorporating color\, scent\, pouring\, and adhering a warning label and the label on the container itself. This time we’ll be trying out colored Volites! The idea is to color your world by exchanging colors with other patrons if you please!
