DESCRIPTION:ll Together at the Library is a monthly program designed to create a welcoming\, inclusive space for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to connect\, participate\, and feel part of library life. Each session offers flexible activities such as crafts\, games\, conversation\, or hands-on experiences\, with an emphasis on comfort\, accessibility\, and social connection. Participants are encouraged to engage in ways that feel meaningful to them. This program is designed to be inclusive and flexible. Participation is always optional\, and activities can be adapted to different comfort levels. Support staff\, caregivers\, and companions are welcome to attend. Please contact the library in advance with any accessibility needs or questions. \nThis month\, participants are invited to color mandala designs to take home. With simple materials and flexible design options\, this activity is designed to be approachable for all skill levels. Participants can engage at their own pace and in whatever way feels comfortable.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a free community training on how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and respond effectively using naloxone\, a life-saving medication that can temporarily reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Participants will learn overdose prevention strategies\, how to administer naloxone\, and steps to take while waiting for emergency medical services to arrive. \nThis training is open to all community members and requires no prior medical experience. By attending\, you’ll gain practical knowledge and confidence that could help save a life in an emergency. \nThis training is presented by Project.Me.
