The Peabody Public Library is thrilled to announce Art Unraveled is continuing all through the month of June! This series celebrates the creativity and craftsmanship of local artists. Sponsored by Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne and the Indiana Arts Commission—with support from the State of Indiana and the National Endowment for the Arts—this inspiring lineup of FREE programs invites the public to explore diverse artistic disciplines through demonstration, storytelling, and hands-on experience.
Join us for a demonstration in the artistry of woodturning and scroll saw work with Fred and Rhonda Inman, Inman Wood Artists.
Fred and Rhonda Inman specialize in creating treasures out of reclaimed trees. Fred turns Wood Bowls & Vases, makes cutting boards, cheese cutters. He also makes natural Edge wood furniture that is at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art.
Rhonda uses the Scroll Saw to make Christmas Ornaments, Snow Flakes, Wildlife & Horse Portraits and uses the Mini Lathe to create items such as Pens, Eggoscopes, Sea Urchin Ornaments, Christmas Ornaments & more.
