What an unforgettable evening we had at Arts on the Square! Downtown Columbia City was overflowing with creativity, energy and community spirit as we came together to celebrate art in all its forms.
The night kicked off with a fantastic performance by the Columbia City High School Marching Band, setting the perfect upbeat tone for the evening. Their music carried through the streets, welcoming attendees and creating a sense of excitement that lasted throughout the night. It was the perfect way to open an evening dedicated to celebrating art and community.

Our Arts on the Square Market gave local artists the spotlight to showcase and sell their beautiful creations. Visitors had the chance to browse everything from paintings to handmade goods, connecting directly with the talented makers who bring so much color and creativity to our community.
One of the most exciting highlights of the night was the Steam Roller Party. An event made possible through a grant from Arts United and the Indiana Arts Commission. A truly unique experience that brought art to life right in the middle of the street! Watching prints being created on the spot was nothing short of incredible. A heartfelt thank you goes out to artists Jennifer Zartman Romano, Kassie Woodworth, Jeff Ando Anderson, and Leah Hopkins for sharing your talents and allowing us to transform your work into large-scale prints for all to enjoy.

A huge shoutout goes to 46 Graphics for their meticulous planning and behind-the-scenes work to make this event seamless. Their dedication helped ensure that every element, from setup to execution, ran smoothly. Allowing the community to fully enjoy the creative experience.
The celebration didn’t stop there. Thanks to the continued generosity of Morsches Builders Mart and the Morsches Family, who serve as our Entertainment Sponsors, we were able to bring incredible live music to the heart of downtown. The crowd-favorite band The Declassified kept energy levels high all night long, with kids, families and friends dancing in the streets until the very last note.

To close out the evening, the annual Movie on the Square brought everyone together under the stars. Attendees gathered on the courthouse lawn to enjoy Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle on the big screen. A big thank you to the City of Columbia City for partnering with us to keep this much-loved tradition alive year after year.

Most importantly, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to all of our donors, volunteers, and every single person who came out to celebrate with us. Your support and enthusiasm are what make events like First Fridays so special.
