Downtown Columbia City is gearing up for an exciting evening of motorcycles, music, shopping, food and community fun during “Motorcycles & Markets,” the June edition of Columbia City Connect’s First Fridays, happening Friday, June 5 from 6 to 9 PM.

The event will bring together motorcycle enthusiasts, local businesses, vendors and families for a lively summer evening throughout downtown Columbia City. Guests are invited to cruise downtown and explore a lineup of motorcycles as riders gather to showcase their bikes and connect with fellow enthusiasts.

In addition to the motorcycle show, attendees can shop more than 90 vendors featuring handmade goods, artisan products, boutiques, specialty items and local businesses. Downtown shops will also stay open late, giving visitors even more opportunities to explore. Live psychedelic groovy blues music from The Wailhounds will provide entertainment throughout the evening, alongside delicious food trucks, family-friendly activities and interactive experiences for all ages.

Columbia City Connect is also excited to announce Round 2 of The Launchpad Youth Entrepreneurial Market as part of the June First Fridays event. The Launchpad gives student creators, makers and future business owners the opportunity to showcase their talents, connect with the community alongside the excitement of First Fridays.

“The Launchpad is such an exciting addition to First Fridays because it gives young entrepreneurs a platform to build confidence, gain experience and share their creativity with the community,” said Executive Director, Niki Keister. “We love creating opportunities that encourage the next generation of local business owners and innovators.”

Interested motorcycle owners can register for the Motorcycle Show by contacting Doug at 260-445-2487. All motorcycle show participants will be eligible for door prizes throughout the evening.

Whether you’re a motorcycle enthusiast, a local shopping supporter or simply looking for a fun night out with family and friends, Motorcycles & Markets promises something for everyone.
