Columbia City is gearing up for Kelly’s Whitley County Skeleton Festival, honoring the late Kelly Maloy, who started the event in 2023. After her passing earlier this year, her mother, Konnie Lutz, and festival director Michelle Grable have carried on the tradition, bringing skeleton displays, live music, games, and local vendors to downtown. The festival not only celebrates Maloy’s creativity and community spirit but also raises funds for ovarian cancer research.
